DONALD
J. SHERRY, CPA
Don has extensive experience in tax,
auditing, payroll, and bookkeeping services. He also has expertise in financial consulting, business evaluation,
personnel management and business management services. His experience includes a broad range of
industries including construction, timber-related services, federally funded
research projects, professional services and independent artisans.
He graduated in March 1992 from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science degree
in accounting with an emphasis in computer science. While going to school he worked as a
controller and as an independent bookkeeper. After school, Don work for several years for local accounting firms doing
tax and audit work. In 2000, he went
into practice for himself.
Don holds a Certified Public Accounting
certificate and Municipal Auditor's license from the State of Oregon. He is a member of the Oregon Society of CPA's.
Having put in 20-plus years in the Active Air Force and Air Force Reserves, Don retired in December 2000. He is an active member in his children's school , the local school district and
professional organizations. His personal
interests include a passion for old cars, U.S. history, computers , and spending time exploring Oregon with his family.
